Another is cleverly captured in a mirror reflection counting down the days like a prisoner. Credit: BanksyĪmong the more notable characters is a rat casually urinating against the lid of the toilet. One rat is swinging from a towel ring using Colgate toothpaste to cushion his landing, another treads on a roll of toilet paper as it cascades off the shelf, while one seems to be mischievously tipping over an entire soap container. On the other hand, they are the smart survivors that will inevitably prevail in any given circumstances. On the one hand, they represent the vermin of society, cunning residents that invade cities by night. Rats have been a recurring theme in Banksy’s work, the symbol denotes the dual nature of the creature. Using strategic placement, he creates a dynamic interplay between the characters and the various bathroom objects. This new masterpiece depicts his iconic rat figures wreaking havoc as they turn the bathroom into their playground. The post caption reads: “My wife hates it when I work from home.” Which is fair enough.Īlthough, if this is, in fact, his own bathroom, she could just be mildly concerned about the walls falling prey to another Sotheby’s auction. Meanwhile, Banksy has reimagined a whole new world of domestic street art, which he debuted in an Instagram post. Many of us are at home teaching our pets how to clear toilet paper towers as though we’re gearing up for the “Quarantine Olympics”. With his concrete canvas out of reach, Bansky has turned to a more intimate setting to showcase his unparalleled genius-a bathroom. The illustrious street artist is in lockdown just like the rest of us.

Kenny Stahl (percussion) Recorded live at the Newport Folk Festival by. Simon then went up to the stage and joined Rateliff for several songs, such as a rendition of “Graceland” before performing “American Tune” with Rhiannon Giddens and joining Rateliff again for “The Boxer.” Simon wrapped up the set with a solo performance of “The Sound of Silence.” Simon said of the experience: The Boxer Paul Simon w Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. But I bought it just because it was beautiful.īeautiful. There was no desktop version, and it was too minimalistic to fit my life. Was a kind of innovative and gesture-oriented app. I stopped paying because it was annoying with suggestions, and I didn't feel like it helped in my life rather, it was another thing to care about. It has good UX and good apps for all platforms. I asked for a subscription or a pro plan, but was too hard to use. It was cross-platform, but notes were poor, and there was no file storage functionality. (Microsoft bought it and replaced with To Do) I don't think I paid for anything. Here is my experience (sorry if it's not directly answering your question): And probably in most places there are no big issues, because I have not seen that much of posts about syncing issues.I have tried multiple todo apps through the years. So I belive that in some places there can be no problem with Apple services. Later then Microsoft opened more servers in region, the sync problem dissapared. Little before the summet while preparing my speech, I discovered that Onenote on my iPad didn’t sync the data. Went to the summit with iPad, didn’t took my paperwork with me. I once got even embaraced because of that. I remeber that some 6 years ago the same was with Microsoft’s services. I have even resetted my phone and Mac because of that. And sometimes even AN or AR syncs fast, but sometimes it takes literally days. Nor Google, Microsoft etc high volume services, they all work without problem. And are there some limits, or misconfig or the usage is so high, I don’t know. At least Little Snitch shows the traffic from Mac goes to Amazon servers. In Europe, Estonia Apple uses as much as I know Amazon’s servers. I suspect that it’s someting with iCloud. Bear syncs instantly, Apple Notes can take hours. Todoist, 2do sync is instant, with AR it can take hours or days. Also at the same time putting the task in the Todoist, 2do and in the AR. iOS is so close but not having NLP priority setting is such a dealbreaker for me! It's insane they don't have that. UPDATE: I think I'm staying with ToDoIst for now. For those not familiar with the iOS15 Reminders Update, they now support tags, smart folders (aka filters), natural language support, etc. For those who don't want to deal with the transition, that's another valid reason to stay I suppose (if I don't figure out a script/program to auto-transfer everything, I won't bother haha). If cross-compatibility mattered to me I'd probably stay at this point I'm heavily in bed with the Apple ecosystem anyway. I'd rather not make the transition if ToDoIst gave me any reason to stay, I just can't find one. A few extra features, like being reminded when you're texting someone etc.Free (doesn't really matter, $36/year for todoist is pretty trivial).Has extensions for every app you can think of, an excellent ecosystem (also doesn't really matter to me).Cross compatibility (doesn't matter to me). Before I try to write some script to automate the transition, is there anything I'm missing? Does ToDoIst have anything apple reminders doesn't? Here's what I see: But after the latest Reminders update, I don't see any reason to pay for ToDoIst anymore.
